I made my first mistake with Organix snacks when my box of goodies arrived with the postman and I let out a squeal of delight and excitement that instantly got the attention of both my toddlers, who immediately dropped everything they were doing to wrestle the treasures out of my hands. No hiding this package as planned to get some nice photos of the snacks before they got toddler-ized!
The second mistake that I made was opening the box to give them just a little treat before dinner so that I could hide the rest away while they were distracted – as soon as they tasted the Carrot Stix snacks that I opened for them their suspicions of me trying to hoard delicious treasures were confirmed and they were even more determined to get their cute little hands on the whole lot instantly, and nothing I could serve them for dinner would be satisfactory!
The final mistake I made was popping one of the Carrot Stix snacks into my mouth before handing the bag to them….it was so tasty I needed more but knew my chances of getting anything but crumbs back were extremely thin. (You’ve all seen those animal documentaries with the baby lions feasting on something the lioness caught right? That’s kind of like my boys when I got these snacks out. Apart from the hunting bit……)
As far as getting things wrong go that was the last of it – everything else about this snacking experience was very near perfect. Organix make tasty food for babies, toddlers, (hungry mums) and beyond. Made with only the best organic ingredients and no junk.
Exactly the kind of food I pictured making for my little ones before I realised how hard it sometimes is with a baby to even get milk on breakfast cereal never mind bake natural treats every day.
Organix not only provide simple, tasty and healthy options for each stage of your baby’s food journey they also have a brilliant website full of advice, articles and information. A quick look around the website will also reassure you that when you feed your family Organix snacks you are choosing a company who genuinely care about your children’s health.
Perfect for at home or for travel
We tried the Carrot Stix, Cheese and Herb Puffs, Animal biscuits and Soft Oaty Bars and every one of them was a hit (with none left over for me – darnation!)
I think my favourites were the Saucy Tomato Noughts and Crosses – they combine yummy flavour with a toddler’s innate need to play with food in perfect bite size pieces. They didn’t quite last long enough to finish a game but it gives us the best excuse to go and buy some more!
We were very lucky to receive a box of Organix goodies for the purpose of this review but all opinions are my own – and you can get your hands on some at your local supermarket in the baby aisle.
